A man lixeira: Pezas para acordeón

Since the incorporation of the accordion into Spanish conservatories of music, scores and methods from other countries with academic tradition in this instrument have almost always been used. Progressively, treatises are beginning to appear in which the musicalisation of traditional melodies is used to deal with specific technical questions. This work aims to provide accordion students with 45 works based on Galician folklore, adapted to the chromatic bass accordion model and the traditional bass model. Fernando Fraga, the author, is a renowned performer and an accordion teacher at the Higher Conservatory of Music of A Coruña. An audio CD with all the works, performed by the author, is included.
