From Note Music to Particle Music

This book, a synthesis of a PhD thesis, aims to bring the work and ideas of composer José Manuel López López closer not only to specialised researchers—who are typically the primary audience for PhD theses—but also to a broader public. The only prerequisite for this latter audience is a certain level of interest and curiosity to delve deeper into the keys that explain the work of one of the most influential Spanish composers at the beginning of the 21st century.
