José Fernández Vide: Complete Works. Volume III: Choral Works

Published by the Ourense Provincial Government, this is the third volume of the complete works of Maestro Vide, dedicated to his choral music. It includes a biographical, analytical, and interpretative study of the works, composed for different groups: mixed choir, men's chorus group, equal voices of women or children, without and with accompaniment of different formations and/or keyboards (piano and harmonium). Vide worked as a choir conductor in the ‘Centro Gallego de La Habana’, and in several choirs in Ourense (including the ‘Orfeón Unión Orensana’), so his knowledge of the genre is very wide. A total of 36 works is included.
