Nocturno Vigo, for violin and piano
The nocturne for violin and piano from the orchestral suite based on Galician songs entitled Vigo is a chamber adaptation made by Soutullo in the early 1930s. It is based on the second movement of the Suite Vigo for band, which the composer created using popular Galician songs and which has also been published by Dos Acordes. This is a small-scale work whose main theme is based on a popular alalá. Its characteristics make it ideal for studying and approaching the work of this great composer, best known for his lyrical side.
