Temperando. Elementary Level. Volume III: D.

This is the third instalment from a series aimed at the novice bagpiper and at those who, knowing the instrument, want to improve their technique. Temperando, Elementary Level, is divided into four volumes corresponding to the four official years of the Elementary Level of Galician bagpipe taught at conservatories of music in Galicia. It will be completed with the publication of the volumes Intermediate I and Intermediate II. The series is intended for those wishing to start in the world of Galician bagpipe, including technical exercises, traditional pieces suitable for this level, as well as information on Galician traditional instruments, bagpipers, and traditional quartets. This way, the future bagpiper will be able to learn, little by little, about our traditional culture. All the materials included in this volume are not only appropriate for teachers and students of this level at conservatories of music, but they can also be used as a progressive teaching guide for cultural associations and other types of music schools.
